The 105th Day of the Year
All of the money manipulation can be avoided. All of the "wealth envey" could be avoided. All of the Income Tax Fraud and double standards could be avoided. All of this could be avoided with the Fair Tax.
We need real answers, not gimmicks.

Are you campaigning, AI? :-)
I don't know if the Fair Tax would fly nowadays considering how much of an impact consumers have on the economy (which is quite astounding when you think of it) now that they are actually saving rather than spending.
Murf, over the next two to four years we will see the price of everything (especially neccesities) increase...Dare I say the word...Dramatically. Some of this will be because of the embedded cost of taxes.
We could see a real turn around (mind you one that will still take some time due to our deindustrialization)if people didn't have their money taken from their check before they ever laid their hands on it.
I've been a long time proponent of FairTax. Unfortunately, it's a big big change, and the lumbering Federal Government is slow to make change this big. It's still worth talking about however.
I'd love to see websites like TurboTax and Quicken provide their userbase with alternate tax reports under plans like the FairTax and others. I mean, they have all the data to do so, it would be a great way to make people starting thinkin'.
The Tea Party folks have got a point . . . so there I am, and I ain't no communist or reactionary . . . some of the people who participated in the debacle are getting paid again . . .double for being incpetent and selfish and greedy. Bill
Hey You'l, there has been allot going on. Not ignoring anyone. But, then, comments are optional.
I'll post again in a few days.
Sadly, there's a lot of voters who are too lazy to use any mental muscle in order to think through the issues and candidates. They fall for the gimmicks rather than figuring which candidate has some real answers.
