Appalachian Patria

Appalachian Intellectual. To me that means plain thinking. I am A Non Commissioned Officer in the Army Reserves. Let me say...My views expressed here are mine and not those of The U.S. Army, Army Reserve or my fellow brethren in The National Guard. This is entirely Sua Sponte. This is My Thinking. I'm single and in my mid 30's. Politicaly, I'm a Libertarian. (Again, Sua Sponte.I do not represent the Libertarian Party.)I love my native Appalachia, Rock n Roll and...I love God.

Name:
Location: Brevard, North Caroilina

I started blogging for two reasons. I was concerned about the changes to the area I live in, Southern Appalachia and I was about to go to the war. I was in Iraq in 06 and 07 and now Kuwait in 11 and 12. Blogging was a means of documenting my experiences and hoping it would help gain clarity. I don't feel that way about it any more. It's said people write blogs because they are frustrated, that's why people read them too. That makes us sound apocalyptic. Are we? Let it be said, what I say here is of my own thinking. This is entirely Sua Sponte and not an official representation of the U.S. Military or the U.S. Government as a whole.

Beautiful Dreariness

The last couple of days were so dreary, they were beautiful. And, beauty is infinite. I didn't mind the fog and drizzle of Sunday or Mondays rain. I'm glad to have had it.It was needed in more ways than one, rain falling from the sky to wash the dust off of our minds.

Partly thanks to a full moon, I didn't see any Deer the last few days. I did see a Skunk about eight feet in front of me and my partner early Friday morning and my Brother, that I've not seen in about a year and a half.

I also picked up a new Puppy last night from a boy over in Balsam Grove. She's 3/4 Walker and 1/4 Plott and eight weeks old. That's her you see, the boy who gave her to me called her "Skeeter head", and I call her that for the meantime. Yep, she's had her two parvo shots.

While at his dog lot and looking her over, I could hear the North Fork rushing down below us in the dark. It sounded as if it was up quite a bit. That river can handle allot of water. I'm not sure what the total rain fall was around here, but it was healthy. Water is our most precious resource. This drought goes on, but there is an end. Our minds can't stay dusty but so long.

Today, the 27th of November is the anniversary of the first Crusades, as was noted this morning on Writers Almanac. I suppose history proved it a scheme. That was just an interesting note I threw in there.

Truth be known, my mind is not ll dusty, it's rather active...It's beginning to stir.

There is still some living left when your prime comes and goes . . . thanks for the lines. It lifted me . . . I just hope I can catch the wave . . . the rain has been good. I like the "dreariness" of late fall past September and October and hoping the cotton is all picked and gone from the field . . . not to worry it is all gone from most places having never been planted . . . not like before. I like the gray that comes into the hardwoods that is accented by the evergreen pines and cedars. It is an interesting time of year. I'll read this again and try to catch the upward way of it. I am so pleased with it . . . the Enoree runs below my deceased father-in-laws house and you can hear it a long ways off. Sone of the mountains streams are prone to flash floods but you know that . . . take care.

We got that same rain up here in northeast Kentucky. A welcome rain. I can remember a time or two in the past they'd delayed opening day for deer because it was so dry in the woods.

If you call her Skeeterhead for long then that's what you'll end up calling from now on, or Skeeter maybe. :-)

My goodness you guys write some beautiful stuff. You could get hooked on this blogging stuff. Please don't call her Skeeter. Knew a boy in second grade named skeeter and all he did was pick his nose and eat.... Well, never mind. Rained here in Mississippi also, and was much needed. Our ponds are way to low. You all take care. Yes, I am new to this blog stuff. I kind of like it so far!

Can I write the word stuff a few more times??:) Just a quick question about all this bear hunting. Is it cruel?? Not a bleeding heart liberal, just animal lover. Glad to hear the new puppy (refuse to call her Skeeter got her parvo shot). Chat later, Have a great night.

Baygirl...Biloxi?
I answered the cruel question in the last post. Now, if your reffering to those lyrics before being beautful, I didn't write them It was a Travlin Wilbury's Song. Blogging can be fun and a chore...It shouldn't be.

I don't know if Skeeter will stick, a Hunting Buddy has a dog named Princess, will eat a Bear up.

Hey, :Me" or is that you...I thought I was me and you were yoiu, but you say your me...Uhm...Well, any how me...I mean you...Well, she ain't been to beauty school.

No, not Biloxi. I actually originate from the Alabama Gulf Coast. Pretty country down there, but I have always loved the mountains. Yes, I know they were lyrics, but still the writing is pretty. If blogging becomes a chore, don't do it! Pretty day in Miss. What about there?? Still not sure about bear hunting!

I've spent some time in Brewton Alabama. I thought it was a neat little town. Oh, today is really nice.

I have a rule, don't post for the sake of posting. Do it when I feel like it.

Generic Viagra (sildenafil citrate; brand names include: Aphrodil / Edegra / Erasmo / Penegra / Revatio / Supra / Zwagra) is an effective treatment for erectile dysfunction regardless of the cause or duration of the problem or the age of the patient.
Sildenafil Citrate is the active ingredient used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men. It can help men who have erectile dysfunction get and sustain an erection when they are sexually excited.
Generic Viagra wal-mart generic viagra is manufactured in accordance with World Health Organization standards and guidelines (WHO-GMP). Also you can find on our sites.
Generic Viagra is made with thorough reverse engineering for the sildenafil citrate molecule - a totally different process of making sildenafil and its reaction. That is why it takes effect in 15 minutes compared to other drugs which take 30-40 minutes to take effect.

Even in the most sexually liberated and self-satisfied of nations, many people still yearn to burn more, to feel ready for bedding no matter what the clock says and to desire their partner of 23 years as much as they did when their love was brand new.
The market is saturated with books on how to revive a flagging libido or spice up monotonous sex, and sex therapists say “lack of desire” is one of the most common complaints they hear from patients, particularly women.
