Tonight I Post
This is the post you get to say, "Wow, that's neat". That's what I want it to be...But, tonight I feel...I've got a strange mix of thoughts and emotions in me. Talking to people from the past sometimes has it's consequences. I learned that someone I regarded as truly Beautiful was in a car accident some years ago and died as a result of it. She had a Beautiful Heart.
I come across something and I want to write about it. The things I could say...Blogging can take time though. Goofing off takes time...Once in a fll moon I rent a movie...Hence once a month. One of which was a documentary on (some of you may dread him) the lessons of the life of Robert S McNamara. S is for Strange. His Wife didn't know that until they announced their engagement. It was made a few years back. However, he was in good health, alert and keen. And, this about the time I referred to "Bombs Away LeMay". And, that "War Criminal" talk came up. As well, when he came to Ford Motor Company after WWII they had broke even on their best years since the early 20's. Reminds you of the dwindling three today. However he helped make the company competitive, unlike today. This is where you say "Wow, that's neat."
My fellow Libertarians and any Objectivist that may read across this, I have undertaken Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged. I took a break after the first part and read "Call of the Hounds", a book about the times of professional guide Del Cameron that hunted Mountain Lions and Bear in the Northern Rockies. As a Houndsman, I loved this book. They do things a little different than we do here in Southern Appalachia, but there are some parallels. He hunted Lions when there was a bounty on them and much of the Montana Mountans were still virgin forest. he hunted places like The River of No Return Wilderness before it became a Wilderness. Anyone with interest in the Northern Rockies or Lions should read this book. While it deals with the Hounds, it deals with nature as much so. If anyone is curious about Hunting with Hounds, they should read this book. It's at times poetic, at others gruesome and plain, it's primal.
OK, what else? Well..Oh Yeah, I noticed a hit on my Statounter coming from Red Georgia Clay...A year of nonposting...If Dave can come back, well I reckon I can too. Now, I've got to link him back, Red Neck Engineering and all...

As another "Wow, that's neat", I talked to a guy in Cincinatti Ohio on my 2 Meter Mobile off of both the Mt. Mitchell(145.190) and the Bearwallow Mnt (147.105)repeaters this morning on my drive to work.
He was a little scratchy but audable.
