Apalachian Intellectual
Appalachian Intellectual. To me that means plain thinking. I am A Non Commissioned Officer in the Army Reserves. Let me say...My views expressed here are mine and not those of The U.S. Army, Army Reserve or my fellow brethren in The National Guard. This is entirely Sua Sponte. This is My Thinking. I'm single and in my mid 30's. Politicaly, I'm a Libertarian. (Again, Sua Sponte.I do not represent the Libertarian Party.)I love my native Appalachia, Rock n Roll and...I love God.
I started blogging for two reasons. I was concerned about the changes to the area I live in, Southern Appalachia and I was about to go to the war. I was in Iraq in 06 and 07 and now Kuwait in 11 and 12. Blogging was a means of documenting my experiences and hoping it would help gain clarity. I don't feel that way about it any more. It's said people write blogs because they are frustrated, that's why people read them too. That makes us sound apocalyptic. Are we? Let it be said, what I say here is of my own thinking. This is entirely Sua Sponte and not an official representation of the U.S. Military or the U.S. Government as a whole.

Hope they put a little more on the site than just that 20 seconds. Still, what little I heard had potential. But does his mama know what he calls his band??
Things are looking up on the blog, AI. It's all fancy graphics and pictures, and now...links to bands' home pages. Oh the humanity. Guess I'm gonna have to stop calling you a troll.
Looks like you don't need help on this stuff. Just need a little time and you figure it out yourself.

Ed, thanks. But, do you see links on the side? I need to get working on that one. And, I'll probably be humbally calling on your help. Oh, I got a kick out of Winny The Pooh in a pair of stockings.
I will begin researching a remedy now. I'm hoping that there are several banners to choose from and we can just substitute for a smaller one like I did for Opera and Firefox. Not tiny, just a little smaller.
Oh, and didn't that Pooh pic seem a bit creepy to you? Seriously, dude....
Right arm, brother.

Yeah, it was creepy. I said I got a kick out of it, I didn't say it made me excited or that I got into it. But, if they had drawn a picyure of Fran Drescher...
Anyone who's a DBT fan is OK with me.
PBS is showing a 4 episode program on the history of Appalachia this week. I think it begins Monday at 9.
If you want, check out my post for my recent visit with Jyl and Wes Freed.
